Hey guys! I decided to upload a selfie today! If you read this, I would LOVE to know your feedback! DM or comment, doesn’t matter! So here it goes!
As you all know, we are both dog lovers! You can see that throughout our stories and on one very special blog post, we are obsessed with our furry family members and I even own a #petzbe account! (@puppeandco lol I follow everyone back!) anyways, I was scrolling through Facebook earlier today, and got to read a post about a wonderful country called #Turkey! I found out that the entire nation worked together to stop the government from putting homeless dogs down to sleep. Turns out that instead of that, the government gives them a special ID, sterilizes them and gives them proper medical care and take them back out. The beauty of this is, they’re not homeless! Locals will feed them, pet them, warm them and even invite them in into their homes and locals in case it’s a rainy or cold night! The street is their home! In a good way! All dogs are happy and friendly and clean, and tourists say you wouldn’t even think they’re “homeless”! Honestly, I believe this is a wonderful and very human way to help them out! We should all learn from them and their wonderful souls!
We named ourselves as the crazy dog ladies and try to help little by little, because that makes the difference, and a bigger one if we all did that! They’re living beings, they have emotions and a very innocent and pure soul. Sadly, animals are voiceless, and they don’t count on all of us to protect themselves from harming and hunger. We need to help! Of course adoption is always the better solution, rescuing and caring! But what can we actually do to start being a little more like Turkey? I heard this applies to cats too, and wow! I always wanted to visit that country, now I do even more!
If you’re from Turkey, is this true? Tell us the experience from your point of view! If not, what is the situation in your country? What is your idea of a solution? If we all share our thoughts we can act on each other’s opinion and start moving forward step by step! The furry ones deserve it! #hoody from @Amazon by Pekatees
