On March 13, 2016 narcotics Detective Jacai Colson engaged an active shooter outside of a police station. Colson was in plain clothes and was mistaken for the gunman by a fellow officer. The fellow officer stated that he “thought I was firing at a gunman ambushing the police station.” Unfortunately, Detective Colson succumbed to his injuries from this event. This incident really hit home for us as it occurred in a neighboring jurisdiction. RIP Detective Colson.

As a New Yorker and the National Chief Advocates for disabled I am disappointed that the commissioner and the mayor did not show up did they forget that Johnny Rios NYPD police officer served seven years of his life dedicated to community maybe they did but I won’t and I will fight this fight on behalf of NYPD to get them the help that they need and it’s outside of dept rules because now my job as a national advocate I will enforce the civil rights of the 14th amendment and get them the constitutional protection they deserve Cops are people too and the United States citizens #bluelivesmatter #Alllifematters I just like to add the New York Post lied it was in full the 50 Precinct was there it was a single file and not a 5 to 6 deep standing in honor of the fallen brother. Only one helicopter flew overhead he should I had an American flag as well and so should have the other 8 offices did everybody forget they served I was city come on people wake up the pressures of policing a very difficult we live in a rough city now since 911 hour uniformed officers now have to fight terrorism I gave them a comment in detail of how we can stop this problem I offered myself up and are the advocates with in my national organization so city officials won’t do it my way then I’ll get the people together and police departments around the country and we will make them do it our way let us always remember that politicians serve the people we don’t serve politicians and police officers or people to God bless you all as you serve today I am Darren Aquino Dione National Chief Advocates for disabled police fireman and veterans suicide was the action PTSD is the condition and that is a qualifying factor and protected by the Constitution of the United States known as the Americans With Disabilities Act and I will fight I am the first fighterAnd I won’t be the last to see the width that NYPD and cops around the country he succumb to PTSD just like the 21 veterans every day will get their benefits this was not self-inflicted this was work inflicted I am your voice God bless you again
