First day of year three is in the books!
They say if it rains on your wedding day it is a sign that the marriage will be good, and long-lasting. Well. Today there was a typhoon, And although the Busses and streets were flooded, the bus was only 10 minutes late I hope that means this year is going to be my best year yet!
The international boarding school structure of the school means most students can live on campus, some opt to do so, while others ride a bus for over and hour to get to school. Most of our students expect to arrive around 7:30am and go home around 10pm. Majority of my students are Korean and have limited English Proficiency, so I spent the day doing oral icebreakers to gauge each students proficiency. My largest class consists of 12 students and for the first day, they seem quiet but fun.
I am teaching the gamut of social studies: civics, AP psychology/US History, and On-level US History. I am teaching Drama/Theatre, and I am also the advisor over Student Council and Model UN.
I’m going to be a busy bee this year, because, I’m literally, every woman! All praise be to God for this miracle. #educator #teacher #loveroflife #boardingschool #typhoon #blackgirlmagic #smile #travel #lawofattraction
