You don’t grow in the gym. You grow while you recover.
You also get faster, leaner and stronger while you recover, so it stands to reason that you should be making this a priority ⚠️. But recovery isn’t simply a matter of post-workout protein and waxy maize – it’s a matter of rest. Or, more specifically, sleep.
While a great many of us build our schedules around workouts, fewer of us offer the same deference to our sleep, choosing instead to stay up late for zombies, or wake up at sunrise to catch some empty stomach cardio. But this lack of devotion to sleep
might just be the missing element in your quest for a better body. Muscle-building, fat-burning and athletic performance are all diminished by sleep deprivation.

Instead of only posting videos of deadlifting or squatting, I'll just only post videos of log pressing lol.
190 lbs for sets of 3 strict presses.
These felt like death but don't look all that bad after the fact.
Crazy to think I could barely do 1 rep with leg drive about a month ago.
Good progress like this is SO SATISFYING!!!
LONG POST, BUT READ THE REST!
Officially reached a point where i'm no longer concerned with how well I do at the next competition, i'm just enjoying the process and getting stronger.
In the spirit of a post I read earlier by @lift4cake , I will say this.
I am highly competitive, especially with myself and would love to always show up and be the best. I know lots of people in fitness and strength sports are similar, but we gotta stop that kind of thinking.
Put more energy into developing yourself and your chosen goals, quit worrying about other people, and eventually you will be the best. Or it won't even matter because you'll be enjoying yourself too much to care.
Unless you're already competing at a national to world level, don't put that kind of stress on yourself. This stuff should enrich your life, not cause more tension. Just one man's view though! If putting yourself under that stress drives you to push harder, then I suppose that's your prerogative lol.

What’s your fitness journey? I used to be a little twig. Always made fun of for being small, so one day I joined a gym. I had no clue what I was doing. Luckily after a few months into my membership a couple guys took notice to me and took me under their wing. I began training with them, along with tons of YouTube I learned the ropes. Now 5 years later I’m able to help those that were in the same place as me. Don’t ever give up!

СКОЛЬКО РАЗ В НЕДЕЛЮ ТРЕНИРОВАТЬСЯ И КАКУЮ ПРОГРАММУ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАТЬ?

Я предлагаю вам разбить тренировки на 5 видов:
1)Базовая
- Грудь,спина,бицепс,трицепс.
2)Плечи
- Прокачиваем все три пучка:передний,задний,средний.
3)Ноги
- Спринты,приседания,выпрынивания,стульчик,икры. Так же с ногами делаем пресс.
4)Кардио
- Бег,скакалка,любая лёгкая активность где идёт дыхание и отсутствует забивка. Пульс 120-140. Лучше всего совмещать с тренировкой ног. Тогда делаем 15-20 минут. В отдельный день 30-40.
5)Элементы - Начинаем со статических упражнений и заканчиваем динамическими. Хорошо разминаемся. Выполняем элементы в круговом стиле: Передний вис,ласточка,флажек. 3-4 круга. Горизонт,Драгонфлаг,Стойка на руках. 3-4 круга. Если еще не умеете элементы то используйте подводящие.

Получается 4-5 дневный сплит,например:
1 день: база
2 день: кардио + ноги
3 день: плечи
Отдых
5 день: Элементы
Отдых
7 день: кардио

Тренировки короткие,не более 45 минут осовной части без учёта разминки!

Вот вам и ответ сколько раз в неделю тренироваться и какой сплит использовать. Это лишь мой вариант,👇напишите в коментариях какой используете вы💪 Тренируйтесь,развивайтесь и получайте прогресс!
