So there you have it. One pound of fat. Pretty substantial in size, right? Just one pound is bigger than your fist. Imagine what 5-10 look like 😳

Each gram of fat contains about 9 calories. There are 453.92 grams in a pound. So that adds up to 4,082 calories. Actual body fat has (on average) 87% actual fat in it. So that’s about 3,500 calories. Because different areas of your body can contain different amounts of actual fat, the caloric value can range from about 3,400-3700 .
Below are a few foods and the associated quantity required to hit this 3,500 calorie mark. Just for a visual 😎- don’t worry though. If you eat 35 bananas you won’t actually gain a lb of fat. You’ll burn or eliminate the majority. If you are consistently eating more calories than you burn though, that ball of fat will start to build. Over the course of a year, several of them can form. Wouldn’t it be better to get rid of them? 😉 - that’s why you’ve got to eat a bit less than you burn - CONSISTENTLY 😬

Welp, I got my #bodpod assessment . Sitting at 29% body fat 😰 and 143. I knew it’d be more accurate and higher than I expected but I didn’t think it’d be that high.
