👨🎓 Sin duda alguna en un plan de pérdida/ganancia/mantenimiento de peso es importante saber determinar qué requerimientos calóricos necesitamos en función de nuestras características (edad, sexo, enfermedades…) y hábitos de vida (vida sedentaria, más activa…)

☝️ Que un día consumas más kcal de las que tengas pautadas no influirá para nada si ha sido previamente planificado. No es necesario llevar hasta el gramo aquello que ingieres a no ser que tus objetivos sean competitivos, donde este discurso sería totalmente nulo.

🧐 Todos los días caminas 21.347 pasos? Todos los días pierdes el autobús y te toca dar una carrera extra? Existen muchos factores para determinar un número exacto de kcalorías al día.

💡 La flexibilidad puede ser máxima. Como ves en el gráfico, no es necesario que todos los días comas lo mismo. Lo importante, y estarás cansado/a de oírlo, es el cómputo global.

📈 El gráfico muestra 3 ejemplos claros y clásicos. Esas combinaciones como podrás imaginar son prácticamente infinitas. Adapta tus calorías a tu estilo de vida, es muy simple. Los hay que prefieren no salirse del guión y consumir las mismas calorías día tras día. Otros prefieren aumentar el consumo calórico los días de entreno, por ejemplo. Y los hay quienes se reservan para el finde.

✅ Conclusión: Adapta tu dieta a tu vida, no tu vida a tu dieta.

So here’s my latest body analysis computed by @inbodyusa at @desertsportsandfitness (Santa Cruz Plaza). This was conducted last Sunday (Aug 5)

This is my second analysis. If you look at the image, my last analysis before this one took place last October.

So, considering everything that went on this year w/ my fractured ankle and the time off w/ all the recovering and healing, I feel like this is a hell of an achievement. I’ve lowered my body fat percentage down to 9.7% from 11.9 while dropping from 174 lbs down to 166.4.

Seeing how I was off my feet for about two and a half months, stuffing my face w/ delivery pizza (thanks @pizzahut), I’ll take the results from this “test”.

I jus recently started tracking my macros. I’ve been legitimately tracking for almost three weeks now. I’ll be able to use this analysis to track my progress going forward.

I’m not exactly sure what my goal is as far as my fitness goes. I work outside and I’m always on my feet so it’s hard to keep my weight on, I mean I’ve already lost one pound since last Sunday.

I’d like to think that I’m playing w/ house money because of the fact that I’m constantly burning calories at work. There are times where I really don’t need to do any type of cardio at the gym, even then I’ll still lose weight. Muscle burns fat, as we all know, and I’ve recently received a few compliments that I’m getting “bigger” and I look “bigger” so if I continue to lose a few pounds here and there, but I still maintain that lean, swole look I WILL TAKE IT. Thanks for your time. 🤙🏾🤘🏾

So month 1 of #fastKeto was a huge success. Went down 2.5% #bodyFat and 3.1kg - and of that only 400g was #leanMuscle. Seems #keto really is muscle/protein sparing. And just a reminder that since beginning of the year I have tossed out all supplements... no protein shakes, no pre-workout, no BCAAs!
▶️ Month 2 will now commence and will be about trying to keep BF% under 8 and increase muscle mass and most importantly FEEL strong during workouts and be able to perform as desired. 💪🏼

Tonight’s tea 😋 .....

Tiger prawns cooked in a bit of chilli oil with Harissa, mixed veg and @sainsburys stuffed pasta, dead quick to make, very tasty and not bad on “macros” I have added the calories for those of us and yes I can admit was one who are scared of carbs and think they’re going to make us “fat” yes they will if you eat then excessively but that’s the same as anything. There is a lot of press at the moment about the importance of carbs and @rhitrition has helped me to understand a lot better. . .

It’s amazing how much better and actually leaner I feel after incorporating carbs into my plan......I am learning when is best to have them and which ones work best for me. However what I am eating may not suit your goal so instead of focusing on what someone else is eating and the quantity focus on:
