Exactly 4 years ago today, I drank alcohol for the last time.
It’s kind of mind-blowing for me to even say that, because all throughout high school and most of college, my life revolved around it.
I actually stopped drinking to prep for my bikini competition my senior year of college, which ended up being a blessing in disguise because after that, I had a couple more days where I drank, and then decided I really didn’t need or want it in my life anymore. My mindset was clearer, I was able to commit to my health goals 100%, and to be honest, I never really loved the taste of it anyway.
I’m not here to tell you to stop drinking completely if it’s something you enjoy, but I am here to just share my story, because there was a time I thought it would be a part of my life forever, but it wasn’t until I stopped drinking, when my life improved significantly.
From the girl who carried a handle of Majorska in her fake coach purse 🤦🏻♀️🙈, I’m proud to say I’m 4 years sober and thrivinggggg 🙌🏻💛If you’re a sober sally like me, comment below! I’d love to know who can relate! #evolveyourperspective #soberliving
