Credit : @rachandbooks.. Thank You 📖 REVIEW 📖 Truth is, I haven’t had a book hangover this bad in a LONG time. I cannot enjoy other books right now which is both a good and bad feeling!!!!! Good because I have definitely found a new favorite but bad because I can’t sit down and read right now 😫 I’ve tried and tried and I just can’t get out of the slump created by this story. And I finished this in mid-October! . I had to sit on a review of The Heart’s Invisible Furies for a while to process everything. At times I am rendered speechless at books I adore, and this one is an example of that. I am completely without the right words to express how magnificent this story was, but I’ll try. It’s one of those books that reached deep down into my heart and squeezed it and didn’t let go. At the end, I wasn’t entirely ready to say goodbye and I finished the book with tears in my eyes. It was great. I say that it reminds me of how I felt while reading A Little Life because of the scope of the book but also in that you kind of feel like you lived a life inside of it. I grew so close to the characters and both loved and hated them at times. I found myself wondering what they were doing when I wasn’t able to read. I know that this story will stick with me going forward. . It honestly has some of the absolute funniest dialogue I’ve ever read and some of the most complex characters created. It intertwines each character’s stories seamlessly and so brilliantly and you’ll feel ALL of the emotions reading about them. I’m utterly pleased with this book. 5/5⭐️ and one of my very favorites this year. Actually, of all-time. Slump worthy, without a doubt. . QOTP: What’s a book that put you in a slump (for either good or bad reasons)?? . . .
Credit : @oliverskywolf.. Thank You Hello everyone! I hope you are having a relaxing weekend so far! For this post, I'd like to share an idea. 😊 • I love anything that promotes books, and with that I'd like to create a "tag" to showcase and encourage reading. • The name for this tag is , and the only requirement is a photo of you reading. Simple as that! The purpose of this is to show that reading is ubiquitous and wonderful and powerful. A movement presenting the world's readers in one place. • Everyone is invited to participate! If you'd like to join, post a photo of you (or someone else) reading, along with the hashtag: . Feel free to tag others in your photo as well! • Moreover, you don't need to show your face if you prefer not to; so long as it's clear that the photo is of someone reading. For example: a shot of an open book held by your hand is good enough.😊👍🏼 • "If we read for pleasure, if others see us reading, then we learn, we exercise our imaginations. We show others that reading is a good thing." — Neil Gaiman. •
