Happy weekend fellow book lovers! What are your plans for this weekend? Any fun adventure happening? I'll be working and reading whenever I can! With some kitty snuggles too! 😻

I find that since the Twilight hype has died off, there's not that many vampire books anymore. While I read this book a while ago, Blood Song is a good way to catch up on some vampire reading this fall. If you're like me who comes from a family who adores Halloween and anything spooky or monster related, then this is a book to pick up. Filled with vampire goodness for those of us who have been trying to find some vampire reads for our fall tbr. I may pick this book up again myself just to refresh my memory on this book!

'For anybody who wants to understand a but about Naga life, away from the headlines in the press, Temsula Ao's collection is an ideal destination.' - The Tribune ☮️✨. Economical and unadorned, his stories being alive and poignant and bewildering experiences of the people of Nagaland. Caught in a spiral of violence, each story explores questions of ethnicity and identity.

Please start this book only after you've done some extensive reading on Behavioral Economics... It's more about the history and the making of Behavioral Economics and how these great minds contributed to this field than it is about their theories. I should have read this book later! #richardthaler #nobelprize #misbehaving #behavioraleconomics #nudge #economy #business #psychology #econs #instabook  #bookstagram #bestseller  #read #libro #leer #kitap #lire #читать #ler #读 #livro #книга #livre #书  #okumakiyidir #tedtalks #bookrecommendation #kitapönerisi #bookworm

Trust the timing of your life. Remember that everything is unfolding exactly as it should be. Wherever you are on your journey, that’s exactly where you need to be. Cultivating this belief/attitude will help you deal more effectively with whatever challenges may come your way.

TO ALL THE BOYS I'VE LOVED BEFORE 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌠
😍
Imagine you wrote letters to all the boys you have a crush on. You don't send the letters though, well you don't have the guts. You keep it in a hat box your mother had gifted you to keep 'all your secret things'. No one knows about the letters, not your sisters or friends. Only You.
You wake up one day, the letters are gone and all the boys you've written a love letter too (5 of them) have all been mailed your secret letters. One of them is your sister's boyfriend. Okay, Ex-boyfriend. Whatever. Another is one of the most popular girl in school's boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend.
..
😍 😍
That was Lara Jean Covey's story. Listening to it was so good. I finished it in 2.5 days. The story was as smooth as the narration (now, I want to see the movie). Lara Jean is kind of really childish IMHO, I kept thinking of how I was at 16. Well the story unfolds to Lara Jean striking a deal with Peter Kavinsky (the popular girl's boyfriend) to pretend they are dating. Hopefully, Josh (her sister's boyfriend whom she still have a huge crush on) would conclude she doesn't have a crush on him anymore and Genevieve (Peter Kavinsky's gf) might come running back to her Ex out of jealousy. Kind of a Love triangle sha.
My favorite character is Kitty 😍 😍, she's so witty. ..
😍 😍 .
An easy read, TATBILB is an interesting story to calm your nerves, shake your head, laugh, hiss, smile and when you are done. you either want to read the sequel or fantasize the rest of the story 😋.
Have you read this or seen the movie? .

“They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions... but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience.”

I didn’t expect to look upon To Kill A Mockingbird’s characters and southern charm so fondly, but I ended up absolutely adoring it. While far from a perfect book, it addresses the issues of racism and discrimination with grace and carries a such an idealistic outlook that I couldn’t help but fall for it. -
The continued prominence of the book’s overarching conflict speaks volumes about our collective shortcomings. At its core, To Kill A Mockingbird remains a hopeful reminder of the strength in tolerating others and the necessity of standing up for what’s right.
5/5

📚BOOK REVIEW📚
The Tattooist of Auschwitz .
Synopsis:
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is based on the true story of Lale and Gita Sokolov, two Slovakian Jews who survived Auschwitz and eventually made their home in Australia. In that terrible place, Lale was given the job of tattooing the prisoners marked for survival—literally scratching numbers into his fellow victims' arms in indelible ink to create what would become one of the most potent symbols of the Holocaust. Lale used the infinitesimal freedom of movement that this position awarded him to exchange jewels and money taken from murdered Jews for food to keep others alive. If he had been caught, he would have been killed; many owed him their survival.
My thoughts:
Although this book is categorized as historical fiction, per the author, it is 95% based on actual circumstances and actual conversations that took place. The author spent 3 years interviewing Lale, himself which makes this book, in reality, more of a biography. That being said, this is a story of survival, hope and the human spirit and most of all love. The love Lale and Gita have, is what kept them alive. Although the circumstances are gut wrenching, the overwhelming theme of love is what brought me to tears while reading this book. It’s so important to read books about the Holocaust so that we never forget and this is one that I highly recommend.
