So, I finally finished this book Yey!!!!!! I didn't really read many books this holiday. I don't exactly know why but it happens. So, I finished this book and it is amazing. Some people say that they like the first book better. However I actually like the second book better. Why? lets get to it shall we
WARNING if you haven't read the first book in this series. There would be some spoilers ahead but, if you haven't gotten the chance to read the second book that's okay I won't spoil the book for you.
First of all the story continues following the journey of Shahrzad and Khalid. After Tariq "kidnapped" Shahrzad from the palace Shahrzad and Khalid would be apart. "My Ship Nooo" but don't worry there still will be some romance in this book.
The biggest difference from the first and second book is that the first book is mostly made up of their romance story. Meanwhile, the second book has so much more to it. Not just about romance it is also about letting go, about forgiving. I feel like in the I learn so much from the second book beyond romance.
Note that there will be so many lines worth quoting. I really want to mention some here but, I don't want to spoil them from you
Last but not least, I do have some problems with the world builiding in the first book. I feel confused as to whether how far the extent of the magic is and how fantasy is this fantasy book. Does that makes sense? I hope it does. In the second book, I feel like I can understand the world much better here as if it is finally complete
