Jim Beam’s latest superpremium offering should come as no surprise. The original Knob Creek Rye was a hit back in 2012, so it’s natural that the company would release a cask strength offering, as it’s often done with its other whiskey releases. There wasn’t much to the nose on our sample, but the palate was full of bold, classic rye flavor. All told, it’s definitely a worthwhile whiskey, though you can really do just as well with the 100-proof Knob Creek Rye for less coin. Follow the link in our profile for the full review!
