It seems to be an emerging pattern that I can't manage posting on Instagram while I'm away on trips. I have a few more posts about my previous trip to the Balkans and tomorrow I'll share some info about that book I mentioned in my previous post (still doing some fact-checking).
For now, please enjoy this picture of me eclipsing the beautiful mountains that create the valley that is Sarajevo. The vantage point is from Mount Trebević where part of the 1984 Winter Olympics were held (and the mountain was also occupied by the Serbs during the war in the 1990s). We were cautioned to not go off any sort of path while visiting the mountain, as there were likely still active landmines, and our guide kindly requested that we not die during his tour.
