To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself. .
The photo on the left was taken about 10 years ago. Way before I had kids, after I got married. I took a trip to NC to visit my sister. During that trip I remember desperately trying to lose weight because I was so unhappy with myself. I didn’t know anything but to try some Adderall my sister had. I remember taking it and thinking all my prayers would be answered. That I wouldn’t eat, start to loose weight and that would = my happiness....
Wow wow wow, was I wrong!!!! But it took me lots of trial and error and discovering who I was through the process, to find true happiness. My happiness. Don’t get me wrong, I have my days, I’m not always happy. But I always thrive to find the light in those “bad situations”. .
I hope you all find your beautiful and realize that a certain number doesn’t define you. Weight, dress size, age, whatever. Screw the numbers and focus on fueling your body with whole foods and exercise every day. .
I’m so grateful I found a support system, along with the tools (home workouts and meal plans that don’t deprive me of delicious foods), a superfood shake and accountability to help me on my journey. So don’t think you have to do this alone, I’m always a message away . Brittany.Powers3@gmail.com . #FindYourBeautiful #BeTrueToYou
