When I tell people I eat on average 3 eggs every day they are still shocked. "Isn't it high in cholesterol?"

This is old dated, and we know now with new research that the yolk in eggs is high in omega 3, choline and healthy fats which are amazing for the brain and our tissues. ~
Not only that, cholesterol in food doesn't directly translates into high blood cholesterol. Which then doesn't directly translates into causing various heart conditions resulting from high LDL (the cholesterol that is considered "bad"). What does have an impact on our LDL and heart though is having a lot of oxidative stress on the body➡️ think: a lot of alcohol, smoking, eating processed food etc, in addition to consuming processed sugar. This combo can result in later on elevated blood LDL cholesterol and heart conditions. ~

When it comes to your body think long term. Think small and useful steps that make you a little bit better each day. Consistency is the name of the game. So yes, I'll take my 3 eggs with my veggies everyday....Yolk included! Because my brain and tissues need it 👩🏫💪.

Day 2 learning with @danimiller512! Sad that there's only one left next week. She is an incredible teacher and I wish I could take all her classes forever. Cannot recommend her more highly.

So, this is obviously fun because, as physical therapists, we like to move, but we're also learning exercise ideas and how to use the equipment for our patients. We are movement specialists... So why not learn first-hand, EXACTLY what patients need to get back to their choice activities?

It also builds credibility, if you can say "I've taken a couple classes and have a decent idea of the types of movements you'll need to be able to do". Acknowledging how fun and/or difficult their activity is, can also be validating and show that we believe it's a worthwhile goal.

super greens + ground turkey + squash + sweet potato + quesadilla + salsa ... so dang good ! for the squash and turkey just sauté on medium heat until cooked through and at the end turn the heat up a little more to crisp them up ! 👍🏻 for the quesadilla just take two @sietefoods cassava & coconut tortillas and spread some @kitehillfoods chive almond milk cream cheese in between ... and heat on the stove until browned ! this actually turned out so good especially with the salsa ✔️ and then the sweet potatoes are just left over and the directions on how to make them can be found all over my feed if your interested ! 😊

#byos 😎🌊 I take pride in making my own food. There’s something about creating with your hands that’s very rewarding.. anyone else agree?
I toasted some gluten free oats, cashews, and pumpkin seeds in coconut oil for 10 mins then mixed in some dates. Once it was a consistent mixture I pressed it into a Tupperware container then froze for 30 mins before cutting. So easy, filling, and delicious!

Starting my day with #bulletproofcoffee, and yes, my day is starting now, at 1pm.
Bulletproof coffee has a TON of benefits! I prefer to use MCT oil instead of coconut oil, and homemade ghee( grass fed clarified butter) to make his frothy, rich creamy cup of joe. It gives you energy, suppresses those hunger craving you tend to get when starting your day with a carb loaded meal, and improves mental clarity and helps you lose fat! It’s Especially great before a workout( I’m going for a 3 mike run after this). There are a bunch of ways you can make this drink, but typically I add 1 tablespoon of ghee/MCT oil and sometimes, 2 tb of collagen. I feel awake, energized, full, and ready to start my day. Das Unterbewusstsein st sehr viel aufnahmefähiger und lässt alles ungefiltert ins System.🌐 Daher ist es unglaublich wichtig, mal zu hinterfragen was du denn den ganzen Tag so über dich denkst… Und zwar jeder noch so kleine Gedanke. 🧠
„Ich bin so blöd“, „Mein Bauch ist zu dick“, „Was habe ich den für Dellen in den Beinen?“, „Ich schaffe das eh nicht“… Oh ja, da kommt einiges zusammen. Und dabei dachtest du doch, dass du all das überwunden hättest?

Du kannst dir bewusst noch so viele nette Sätze sagen, noch so gesund 🥦essen und noch so positiv denken. Wenn du dich nicht um die 98% im Verborgenem kümmerst, wirst du nicht ans Ziel 🏁kommen.

There are times, living in such a stressful world, we don't seize the moment and 'take a break'. How can we? There are so many things we have to take care of.

Try and take a 2 minute break to meditate, to clear the mind and change the routine we normally have.

Doing this enough, lengthening the time everyday, will soon begin to change the monotonous rhythm you've created for so long.

You just don't know it! That breath in between a stressful situation, that breath before giving a serious speech, anything serious you're about to do you'll try to change your state of mind by calming it...the problem is its only for seconds.

Changing your movements and rhythm of your routine will keep your mind from being stagnant and increase brain stimulation. 🧠

my go-to lunch for the past few days have been a version of this.

grilled chicken, brown rice cooked in bone broth + a fresh (cabbage) salad 👌🏼

except for today.

today I had a 1/2 lb 🍔 + fresh jalapeños + avocado 🥑 + more french fries than I’d like to admit 🍟

#sorrynotsorry I blame it on Aunt Flow! 😑 The bitch stopped in for her first visit in THREE YEARS!! 😭😭 She can disappear for all I care!

the first couple of days were BRUTAL and the husband asks “Well, would you rather have your period or be pregnant?”

without skipping a beat I replied “Pregnant bc at least I get something good out of it!!”

If you haven't tried adding a kiwi fruit or two to smoothies, yogurt bowls or chia pudding I highly recommend it, they are so naturally sweet and their succulent texture blends in well.
