EAT YOUR FRUITS 🌿
Wusstest Du, dass es nicht nur wichtig ist WAS du isst, sondern auch WANN und in welcher Kombination du es isst?
Unsere Nahrung kann nämlich nur dann problemlos verdaut werden, wenn es in der richtigen Reihenfolge gegessen wird.
Ausschlaggebend für die Reihenfolge ist dabei die Zeit, die wir brauchen, um die einzelnen Lebensmittel zu verdauen.
Obst ist super schnell verdaulich und meist schon nach 20-30 Minuten wieder aus dem Magen raus. Isst Du Obst nach einer großen Mahlzeit zum Beispiel als gut gemeinten Nachtisch, liegt das Obst im Magen oben auf der Speise auf und muss warten, bis die restliche Speise verdaut ist (was schon mal 4-5 Stunden und länger dauern kann). In dieser Zeit fängt das Obst an zu gären. Gase und Alkohol bilden sich und führen zu unangenehmen Verdauungsproblemen.
Versuche Obst daher am besten nur morgens auf leeren Magen zu essen. Zum Beispiel in Form von Smoothies und frisch gepressten Säften. Das Obst in flüssiger (vorverdauter) Form aufzunehmen sorgt für eine noch kürzere Magenverweildauer und damit für einen gewünschten Detoxeffekt, der die nächtliche Reinigung unseres Organismus weiter unterstützt 🍏💦

Who wants a delicious smoothie chia bowl like this one? It’s packed with vitamins as most of its ingredients are fruits. And you don’t need me to tell you about the many benefits of chia seeds, right? So trust me, this breakfast is as good as it looks. —— 📖 RECIPE 📖
Serves: 2
Frozen raspberries 55 g.
Strawberries 95 g.
Bananas 2
Pitted dates 60 g.
Water 50 ml.
Soya milk 150 ml.
Chia seeds 2 ½ tbsp.
Toppings: blueberries, raspberries, dried cranberries, pistachios, diced almonds and oats.
——
👉Cut bananas in pieces and freeze overnight. 👉Date syrup: Soak dates in hot water for 5-10 min. Blend until smooth. 👉Add frozen raspberries, strawberries, milk and date syrup to a blender and blend until well combined.
👉Pour in a jar and stir in the chia seeds. Cover and set in the fridge overnight.
👉Put the soaked chia in the blender and add 2 frozen bananas. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
👉Serve in a bowl and top with blueberries, raspberries, dried cranberries, pistachios, diced almonds and oats (or any toppings of your choice).
👉Enjoy!

🇪🇸 RECETA 🇪🇸
Frambuesas congeladas 55 g.
Fresas 95 g.
Plátanos 2
Dátiles sin hueso 60 g.
Agua 50 ml.
Leche de soja 150 ml.
Semillas de chía 2 y ½ cdas.
Toppings: arándanos, frambuesas, arándanos rojos deshidratados, pistachos y almendras en cubitos.
——
👉Cortamos los plátanos en trozos y los dejamos en el congelador toda la noche. 👉En un bol añadimos los dátiles y agua caliente. Los dejamos unos 5-10 min hasta que se reblandezcan y batimos.
👉Añadimos al vaso de la batidora (o procesador de alimentos) las fresas, las frambuesas congeladas, la leche de soja y el sirope de dátiles y batimos.
👉En un tupper añadimos las semillas de chía y la crema de frambuesas y fresas. Lo mezclamos todo y lo dejamos en el frigorífico toda la noche.
👉Batimos la mezcla de semillas de chía y los plátanos congelados hasta conseguir una consistencia cremosa.
👉Servimos en un bol y añadimos los toppings que más nos gusten (o que tengamos en ese momento por casa)

i never get too personal on this account, because i see it as just my food posts. but the reality is i’m home down under, for day surgery. that can’t occur until my body does something. then i have to have a period of injections + tests + scans before they give me the go ahead for the procedure. so i’m seriously bored/anxiously twiddling my thumbs because this is throwing a spanner in the works to go back to my old stomping ground in melbourne and to travel north + see the great barrier reef (which i’m ashamed to admit, as a queenslander i’ve never seen before). please think positive thoughts that my body does what it needs to do and preferably now so we can get this show on the road 🤞🏻🍀

The paleo coconut pb chocolate cookies I made over the weekend were just staring at me in the fridge this morning begging me to eat them😆😆. (Will be posting the recipe later) They are tasting great mixed in my yogurt this am and surprisingly not soggy at all!

Headed to the Bahamas tomorrow so in the mode of just throwing everything that’s left in my fridge into all my meals 😀😀. This means cookies for breakfast and using the last bit of my yogurt and @purely_elizabeth granola 🤤🤤.

new fave breakfast bowl right here 👆🏻 chai spiced quinoa, with chia, cinnamon and maple, then topped with some creamy almond butter, blueberries and a sprinkle of mixed seeds 🤩🥳 I mean honestly I live for bowls like this!!
Best of all? This bowl as 16g of plant based protein without the use of any protein powders!! 💃🏻 whoever says you can’t get enough protein on a plant-based diet is just wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️

Oatmeal with oat milk for breakfast this morning post 6am barre class 🙌🏻 it’s my first time using oat milk, and I’m loving it! I used @quaker unsweetened original and it’s still very sweet with 0g of sugar! .

In my bowl: 1/2 cup organic oats, oat milk ( which I didn’t measure 😂) and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Once out of the microwave I topped with banana, frozen blueberries (huge game changer), @pbfit.official 🥜 , and @purely_elizabeth granola. .
