I did 470, but you can’t quit at an uneven number, can you? So I did another 30. Total time: 63 mins. I was challenged today to share a #flexfriday post. This month has been ROUGH, but through it, I’ve been reminded how much i love exercise & how it’s truly my saving grace when things get rough. I can always count on exercise to make me feel strong, confident, & help me disappear into a whole other world while i leave all the negative behind. I workout because i love it. I workout so i can feel confident & love myself more. Life is a little easier when i don’t feel so much regret & shame over my physical health. When i’m actually physically taking care of myself, it makes me feel like i’m doing SOMETHING right. & it’s so exciting for me to see new muscles i’ve never had before & to see my abs reappearing now that i’m getting rid of the fat that’s been covering them for so long 🤣💪🏽 #liift4#zumba#burpees#musclegain#loveyourself

Last night the party continued! 🎉🎊🎉🎊You won’t believe how mad I got at a certain someone @kokidd45 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️😂 But in the end I realized he was just showing me what I am capable of doing! 😑 🙄Because of this group of people I made it through my last workout as a 40 year old. @call.me.el kept saying go hard this is the last workout you’ll do before your #birthday. 🙄 @rikireeree says friend you got this... 🎯CORDA NAVAL - alternado X bilateral🎯 ㅤ#respost ⤵️  👉 @rafaelsoncin ㅤ 📌Os exercícios com corda naval são ótimas estratégias quando queremos fazer um trabalho cardiorrespiratório (como o HIIT) e ao mesmo tempo queremos dar um descanso para os membros inferiores, sem fazer saltos, corridas, bike, etc. ㅤ 📍No estudo de Calatayud et al. (2015) foi comparado a ativação muscular entre duas variações de realização desse exercício: alternado (figura superior) e bilateral (figura inferior). ㅤ 📍Foi verificado que na execução alternada houve maior ativação dos músculos oblíquos externos, enquanto que na execução bilateral houve maior ativação dos músculos eretores da espinha. A ativação dos músculos deltoide anterior e glúteo médio não foi diferente entre as duas variações de execução. ㅤ ✅Tais resultados permitem um melhor direcionamento de cada variação de execução da corda naval em função do objetivo e do planejamento para o aluno.
