Be susceptible to being told the truth by your close associates and workers about the state of your business and what your customers are saying. Negative feedbacks are good! They help you get rid of wrong assumptions that could make you lose customers and money. We can't break facts; they end up breaking our expectations when we shy away from them.
In the long run those who are telling you only what you want to hear are not really helping you. Stay open, stay humble! FACE IT, YOU CAN HANDLE IT!
You may not occupy the No 1 position in your organisation but you can make a difference from wherever you are. If you didn't create the vision you can adopt and advance it.
