son•der (n.) the realization that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own.
This word/message is even more powerful this time of year when everyone is running around trying to get their shopping done, hurrying through traffic to make it to their holiday parties and dinners on time. But the person you cut off in traffic, or flipped the bird/honked at, the cashier you didn't even look at as they were ringing you up, the saleswoman you snapped at for not being able to exchange your purchase, they each have their own life, just as important as yours. With families, with jobs, bills, parties, holiday shopping to do, flights to make, etc. So try to remember that and not feel so entitled during this holiday season because there's 7.6 billion other souls on this planet with their own story playing out, you just don't happen to be a part of it.
