Road to India
Day 5 Vlog
Here’s a bit of a background story of the ‘Road to India’ saga 😂
So initially we were invited over to do a few seminars and workshops for a few gyms and this promoter of the event found out that I fought so he asked if I would be keen to do a “Friendly” Exhibition MMA fight, just to entertain the crowd 🙃 which I said yes to and I was algood with a friendly match for the crowd.
We get there and it turns out that I’ll be fighting Pro against the Indian MMA national champion and Super Fight League champion, with 9years Experience and 15+ fights - keep in mind, I’ve never had an MMA fight before 🤷🏽♂️ and I fought this guy Full MMA rules
I gotta say it threw me off a little bit because I only had “3 weeks” to learn MMA 👀 but I backed myself and trusted my brother/coach @rodstagram_mma and we drilled what we could in the short amount of time we were given.
All I gotta say is that promoters are dodgy as hell 😒🤦🏽♂️ telling me lies and making me think it was going to be a friendly match 🙄
Blessed and grateful to have experienced it all, thank you to everyone who have supported me throughout this journey and sent me supportive and heartfelt messages 🙏🏽 thank you to all my training partners/sparring partners from City Kickboxing and Ludus Magnus.
Thank you to my parents, and sorry for putting you guys through so much stress & worry 😂 I’m safe now 🤷🏽♂️ #mmajourney #superfightleague #nationalchampion #profight #mainevent #cagefighter #ufc #mixedmartialarts #uppercut #timing #patience #speed #power #distance #control #vlog #india #mumbai #delhi
