Memories. That's what I took away from this trip along with photos to go with almost every one. This one is very memorable to me and i wanted to share it despite it not being my best astro shot ever.
This night we were blessed with some of the best night skies in the world and we took our time along the way to enjoy it, laughing while plonked on the path, helping @theaexplores find our galactic kiwi in the stars. After getting lost along the way we reached the lake and we started snapping away at the landscape in front of us. After getting some photos I was happy with I let my camera go and lay down on the rocks with @thomasgreenphoto and @adventuringkiwi to marvel at our amazing universe.. We then heard an avalance explode in the distance and within minutes we were rushing around like headless chickens in the dark to grab our gear and run up the hill to 'safety', not really knowing why but all scared for our lives. We thought the avalanche had caused a tsunami from the lake trickling. @patrickaduna thought we were being chased by a polar bear luckily it was neither and we're all here to tell the tale.. We decided that was enough astro goodness and left straight away all shaking from shock.. Some photos hold more meaning than others and I think the others will agree. This one was a night to remember and will always make me smile
