Taking a leaf out of @nourishingmimi's book and trying to convince people I have more than just smoothie bowls for breakfast
I've said it before and I'll say it again, because @fifyaau Falafel with Sesame is the best damn store bought falafel there is I had them just with some frozen veg and a black coffee for a quick af and ridiculously tasty breakfast I ended up taking my banana for a mid-morning snack, making my breakfast:

Another successful #mealprepsunday courtesy of @kate.abrey MEAL 1: spaghetti squash, turkey burger and veggies. MEAL 2: sweet potato, Caribbean spiced chicken and veggies. What are you eating for the week?
Tomato Veggie Pasta Bake Made this to take as lunch for the week! Just mixed together cooked pasta, sliced up yellow zucchini, tomato paste & chopped tomatoes (or just tomato sauce if you have it!) sprinkle as much cheese as you want on top before baking it for 15-20 minutes at 400F
Ok so I actually sorta have a reason for being so MIA lately.... basically all my meals have just been really unattractive plates of leftovers that no one wants to see♀️that’s the best I got But I’m really hoping to be back and more active, provided that I can start making some prettier meals
For my return to the gram, I thought you’d all enjoy a few pictures from the Father’s Day breakfast I enjoyed with my family this morning, consisting of fresh fruits and homemade paleo banana bread, recipe courtesy of @paleoglutenfreeeats
110% would recommend trying this recipe out if you haven’t already, the moist (sorry everyone despises that word)texture of this bread is incredible!! I hope that everyone had a lovely father’s day or if you didn’t celebrate, just a lovely normal day #paleo#fathersday#delicious#healthy#breakfast#brunch#yummy#health#fitness#gym#bodybuilding#muscle#gains#banana#fruits#carbs#protein
If your goal is to lose weight, here’s how you can build a low calorie meal!
If you’re trying to be in a caloric deficit choose foods that are micronutrient dense like colourful veggies and foods that have lots of volume. 🥦
Don’t forget to eat mindfully and slowly!
Enjoy your food and be more aware of your hunger and fullness cues.
For your veggies, choose one from each colour of the rainbow to ensure your giving your body a broader variety of vitamins and minerals.
For your proteins, choose meats that are leaner. Examples can include red meats, ground turkey, and chicken. Make sure to change it up your protein sources, too much exposure of a specific food will build nutrient dependency. 🥩
For your carbs, use starchy and simple sources. The lower the rating on the glycemic Index the easier it is for the body to metabolize, and the faster the energy becomes available for you to use. The more efficient your body becomes at breaking them down to use, the less likely they are to be stored :)
EDUCATE. EMPOWER. EXECUTE.
The other day someone interrupted me mid set to recruit me to his "nutrition team" let's just say, I got my point across very well.
Instead of promoting the dependency on shit products.
Be a REAL FOOD advocate and actually change someone's life THE RIGHT WAY.
Don't give me this "it's healthy for you" bullshit.
REAL FOOD PLATE INGREDIENTS: leafy greens, salmon and rice Meal replacement ingredients : over twenty ingredients with a shitty macro nutrient profile riddled in sugars with little fiber.
NOTHING is healthier than actual REAL FOOD.
So in a world Full of people who just want to sell you a product.
Look past the bullshit and understand that a properly balanced diet and exercise is the only way to continuously reach your goals. I'll be sure to work on a new info graph showing why meal replacements " work" ( quote on quote). It's not magic you guys. Its a simple method that puts you at caloric deficit and in most cases a severely dangerous caloric deficit . what happens when you stop using the meal replacement product? Well.. I'll save that for a later post
