These are two great moves if you are crunched for time and want the best bang for your buck, or if you’re looking for some time in elevated heart rate zones. ❤️📈🆙

1️⃣ Squat/Press- I’m sure you have seen this particular sequence done multiple different ways. This particular one is a tad different. If you watch, she is not jumping bouncing up and down with the weight, but she is not coming to a complete stop either. She is keeping one smooth continuous motion, while still controlling the weight/movement pattern at the same time. This is an incredibly effective way to not only get your heart rate up, but also keep tension on intended muscles.

2️⃣ 5 Shoulder Presses➡️ 5 Squat Jumps- This is just something to challenge yourself to see how many times you can get the intended reps within a period of time. Grab two dumbbells and put them on one side of a room. Grab one dumbbell and put it on the other side. Complete the first exercise, and immediately head to the next. Go back and forth as many times as you can.

Use weights that challenge you, remember repping out 10lb dumbbells will not do much for you. Try them out let me know how you like them 💪🏽

Decided to do my own EMOM workout tonight. Got inspired by @mrsfrisella & @lindsey__windsor_fitness 🙌 .

Here is what I did⬇️
-
1️⃣ Row machine 12 calories. More about the pull not speed.
2️⃣ Assault bike 12 calories row ☠️
3️⃣12 Goblet squats ( yes I got cellulite 😳 I get very insecure about it which I usually don’t wear colored leggings cause of it- but I’m working on my insecurities & confidence!)
4️⃣12 Arnold presses
5️⃣12 ball slams
6️⃣12 bicep curls into tricep extensions

4 rounds of it every minute on the minute. So if you have time leftover on a set, use it to rest! The assault bike & Row machine take majority of the minute & both kick my butt!

Then following this, did a 2 mile jog. Hence the crotch sweat 💦 cause #thickthighlife . I save cardio for post lifting— save your energy for your lift & I feel post burns more fat.

This morning I ran in the rain, it was a nice warm morning. Very refreshing. Still worth getting out and about despite not looking it it does in this video. Get out there today rain, hail or shine peeped. Make the most of it.

30 mountain climbers
20 split squats
15 inch worms
20 walking lunges
15 butterfly sit-ups
15 v-sits
Try 1-3 times through .

A little preview of today's workout. Did a few glute bridges and squats too. Could definitely feel the struggle in my run today, but it's just a matter of getting back into it.

Sunday Funday: conditioning style!
While my workoutstyle is bodybuilding based, it’s crazy important that Include a conditioning day. Functionality is vital to over all heath. You want to be able to be strong not just look strong! and being able to survive the zombie apocalypse (well at least out run a good portion of your group)

Switching things up at the gym as of late to see some changes. Cardio/running/ every 3rd cardio incline walking and then sticking to mostly legs. Every third day I do chest/back. And doing all the exercises I loathe. Fat loss and working on the tiny muscles that are weak. 🤷🏼‍♀️
