Bad news for seafood lovers: Fish flesh today is badly contaminated with toxic chemicals that are known to cause cancer and brain degeneration and is also the most likely of all foods to make you sick from bacterial contamination. Fish live in water that is so polluted, you would never dream of drinking it. But you’re ingesting this toxic brew-bacteria, contaminants, heavy metals and all-every time you eat fish. Big fish eat little fish, with the bigger fish (such as tuna and salmon) absorbing chemicals from all the other fish they eat. Why not just get your omega's from flax, chia, walnuts, or hemp seeds? This is much healthier and you avoid the saturated fat (linked to heart disease) and toxins that come with fish.

I'll stick with my nuts, seeds, and other plant based nutrients, which is overall better for my health and the planet than consuming fish is. -
Fishing is one of the most significant drivers of declines in ocean wildlife populations. Fishing nets account for almost 50% of the oceans pollution!

I'm at the 9 month mark of the carnivore diet. I'm using this approach as a last resort to control multiple autoimmune diseases. I've tried everything else in the world and nothing has ever worked.
Okay, guys. I'm now firmly entrenched in my basketball broadcasting season, so if you need me in the next four months, I'll probably be on the road somewhere. If you see me out and about, please give me steak! Ha. In the next few weeks, I'll be in Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Florida.
Well, I am still extraordinarily frustrated with not making the improvements I need to make. I want to be 100 percent healthy, or at least to the point where I don't think about my health on a minute-to-minute basis. I'm still doing everything I can to reach health, but I really wonder if I'll ever make it. I still feel and look like crap a lot of the time, and it's demoralizing after being as strict as humanly possible on this diet for 9 months. I just want to look and feel like a healthy person.

I mentioned last time that I suddenly gained some weight. I lost a few pounds without trying this week, so my body is still battling with something. I have added some salt to my diet for the first time. Salt has always made me feel worse, but I need to see if it makes a difference now.
As you can see, I've had blood testing done. C-Reactive Protein is a marker for inflammation and heart disease risk. Theoretically, mine should be very high with my autoimmunity. But, as you can see; it's at the lowest possible point. 0.1! My doctor said, "According to this, you currently have almost no risk of having a heart attack or heart issues and have undetectable amounts of inflammation in your body”. So, maybe my body is improving, but I just can't see the results yet? I'm not sure. And I eat only steak every day. So, take that vegans!
