Wasn’t even home from vacay yet...and as I drove by my sister’s house...I see my cat in a tree.
Hmmm...Ellie has never left my yard. She has never been in a tree. She doesn’t even know what a tree is. But apparently, she wandered down the road and when a big dog started chasing her, said tree became an escape.
The problem is...she didn’t know how to get back down ♀️
So, who climbed 30 feet to get her?
Yep, you guessed it. ♀️
(my Dad wanted to but I said she wouldn’t come to anyone but me so I would have to go 🤭)
The purpose of this post is not to let you know that my cat got down...(she’s fine, thanks for asking)...but rather to inform you that I was in a tree and did not hurt myself. #NailedIt #CatInaTree#Calico#ClimbingWithBrokenFingers#DIY
Another very lucky sighting for our guests on safari in Uganda: 7 lions hanging out in a fig tree in Queen Elizabeth National Park! What an epic few days spent in this wild destination with @footstepsthroughafrica. The lions in this part of Africa learned to seek refuge in the trees when after heavy rains the ground below used to flood and small tree islands would form and offer up some dry land. There are a handful of places in Africa where this happens and QENP is one of the most reliable places you can catch this on camera. Excellent!
