We all crave foods that we absolutely should not be eating. Part of the job of improving yourself is to resist those cravings. But every once in a while, everyone has their off days. Here's a few tips for how to deal with a cheat meal (or day):
🍔Don't stress it. It happens to the best of us. And unless you're a bodybuilder very close to competition, it won't kill you. Just get back on track tomorrow and savor the memory.
🍔Minimize the damage. You might eat something unhealthy and immediatly think "ah screw it, I already ruined my diet", leading to more unnecessary consumption. If you catch yourself eating something that bad, enjoy it and let that be the extent of the damage. You'll feel a lot better about yourself, and also you'll have enjoyed a tasty treat with minimal consequences.
🍔 Don't overcompensate. The next day, don't go crazy trying to burn off the excess that you consumed. Just get back on track and proceed as planned; you'll be where you want to be in no time. .
🍔 Use it as motivation. Enjoy yourself in the moment and use it to keep yourself on track later by working hard to make sure your mistake doesn't repeat itself.
🍔 Enjoy it. Whether planned or unplanned, junk food is the best. So yeah it's not good for you, but if it's just once in a blue moon, pat yourself on the back and savor your treat before getting back on track.
🍔 That's all for now, folks
