Do this upper chest & front delt movement partially standing up, so with knees bent, but leaning back at angle so that your back is against the small part of the bench.
Grab dumbbells with an underhand (supinated) grip and pretend you are doing an underhand throw. You are now fulfilling one of the functions of the pectoralis major the clavicular head (upper chest) which is shoulder&humerus(upper arm) flexion. Leaning back creates a larger range of motion and makes the dumbbells have variable resistance. This means as your muscle contracts harder the weight gets more difficult to lift ESPECIALLY when bring all the way over your face.
