*read to the end! its good stuff! ⠀
"to let ourselves be seen, deeply seen, vulnerably seen; to love with our whole hearts, even though there’s no guarantee — and that’s really hard,to practice gratitude and joy in those moments of terror, when we’re wondering, “Can I love you this much? Can I believe in this this passionately? Can I be this fierce about this?” just to be able to stop and, instead of catastrophizing what might happen, to say, “I’m just so grateful, because to feel this vulnerable means I’m alive.” -Brené Brown⠀
But what also is important is the believe YOU ARE ENOUGH. I listened to a podcast today. It was about the fact that God has marked us. We are the salt of the Earth and a lamp on a hill that cannot be hidden. But I find myself while scrolling through social media that I contradict this. I get jealous and feeling as if I am not worthy. BUT I AM!! And so ARE YOU! ⠀
Social media allows us to show a snapshot of our "perfect lives" but life is so much more than that. It is messy! So here is a picture, of my kitchen. Dishwasher open, fruit on the counter drying after soaking to clean, gross towels, Landry on my floor and the messiness of life! ⠀
TOAY: chose to surround yourself with those you can be vulnerable with. Chose to be vulnerable with people and show your life. That is when the feelings of worthiness, joy, peace, and love come in! Because you make room for it. ⠀
Happy Sunday loves!
