Making granola has been on my to-do list for a LONG time, because store bought granola tends to be expensive and heavy on the sugar... so yesterday I finally did it! I loosely followed @simpleveganblog ‘s recipe for oil free granola and it turned out great! I just tossed all the goodies I had on hand in a bowl, mixed in agave, vanilla and water, and baked until crunchy! Next time I’ll try using maple syrup and baking a little longer for extra crisp
Is making your own granola worth it? Yep! Easy, cheap, delicious! 10/10 would recommend!
Goodies I used: oats, almonds, pecans (my fav nut ever so in love), chia seeds, brown rice puffs, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, chopped dates, and cinnamon! I used so many ingredients because I just had them around, but the beautiful thing about granola is it would be great with just 3 or 4 ingredients too.
