Brother-ly love. When you think of 90's Manchester City shirts, Lake, Reid, Kinkladze, Goater and Dickov might spring to mind, but likely, so will images of the Gallagher Brothers representing the Blue side of Manchester with pride. Oasis helped to bridge the multi-faceted gap between football, music and fashion, which has proved so relevant in recent times, such as Santan Dave's love for Manchester United, Bugzy Malone launching Manchester City's new kits, and Loyle Carner's crazy Liverpool collection. Oasis set the trend. And so we took arguably the most iconic Oasis x Manchester City pairing, (the 1993 Manchester City Home and Third Shirts, worn in the infamous photoshoot with Kevin Cummings) to well-known Oasis related locations around Manchester, starting with where it all started, Boardwalk Studio's, where the band practiced, and performed their FIRST EVER gig, at the Club Boardwalk venue within the Studio's. Next, was on to the home of what is hailed as the 'best-ever' Oasis gig by sections of the hardcore fanbase - the old G-Mex. The band's 1997 Be Here Now Tour landed at Manchester Central on 13th December, playing for two nights, before jetting back off around the world. Finishing on Acquiesce, the Gallagher's and co brought the house down both nights, live on broadcast television. Last up is LG's very own, @prettygreenltd the ribbon that ties together football, fashion and music through to the modern day, the brand being a favourite of football casuals and Oasis fans around the world. Started by Oasis, the bond between these subcultures will live forever.
