i’m all about the green juices 🥬🍏🥒💚♻️
+ HERE’S WHY: juices that are fruit based can 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫. yes, even fruit juices can do this. at the end of the day fructose is fructose. now don’t get me wrong, drinking a fresh pressed juice is great because of the vitamins it provides BUT without the fiber the abundance of fruit juice has a pretty large effect of your blood sugar.
PERSONALLY i would rather eat fruit to gain those vitamins + FIBER so my blood sugar isn’t affected as much. regardless, maintaining a steady blood sugar is so fricken important for so many reasons including disease prevention, gut health, hormonal health + overall energy levels. swear.
my fav juices are vegetable based while using 1/4 of a green apple (lower sugar content than red) in each bottle. i love using things like: 𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐜𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬, 𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜, 𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 + 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 in my juices. it’s such a good way to pack in all those vitamins i wouldn’t have eaten otherwise (not a big veggie eating girl 🤷🏼♀️)
