A little snacky I had yesterday, homemade salsa and raw red bell pepper chips!💃🏾For the salsa I diced tomatoes from a medley, red onion, jalapeño, and garlic, then added lime juice, cilantro, and Celtic sea salt🍅🌿🌶️ simple and delicious. I hope you all have a nice weekend🖤

Ritual, Routine, & Resilience: Life has a pretty uncanny way of throwing us surprises and being one step beyond our control sometimes. How we react and adjust to those incidents can make or break our day and even our goals. I’ve become a firm believer that taking the time for ourselves to create a daily routine; one that roots us in calm and certainty and leaves little room for the unexpected can lead to greater success in our every day lives. Routine doesn’t have to be viewed as boring and predictable. Shifting our viewpoint ever-so-slightly can suddenly present us with a level of self-care that becomes as important to us as breathing. It can set our mind, heart, intentions toward an attitude of success that will ultimately spill over into all areas of our lives. When we take the time and make the effort to do a few simple steps for ourselves each day; we give ourselves a fluid path into an otherwise unpredictable day. We allow ourselves to free up the time and energy to combat the inevitable moments of chaos that work, and bosses, and traffic can lead us down. Today was a rest day from the gym for me. I enjoyed a little later sleep in time and then arose to start my day. Prepping my food is usually largely completed the night before as soon as I arrive home from work. But last night the hubs and I elected for #tacothursday and I gave myself permission to postpone until the morning. A little fireplace time. A motivational podcast or two. A quiet morning simply setting my thoughts in the right direction before leaving to fight rush hour traffic. Small things with huge benefits! I encourage us all to fetter out what works for us. Starting our day shrouded in positivity and encouragement is a must!!! Find a podcast that speaks to your needs and dreams and goals. Listening with undivided attention while knocking out rituals will increase our daily positivity bank. The more you put in, the more reserves you have when things begin to slip out of control later in the day. We can never have too much of someone coaching us through the tools to live a greater life. Our days and media are filled with negativity. Our heads are often filled with just as much. ⬇️ Cont.

Just bread. Tasty and healthy!

✔️ 300g buckwheat flour
✔️ 200g rice flour
✔️ 520ml warm water
✔️ 2 tsp salt
✔️ 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
✔️ 7g dried yeast
✔️ 3 Tbsp olive oil
✔️ 5 Tbsp pumpkin seeds

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and let the dough rise for 20min. Do not stirr.
Pour batter into a pan and leave it for 30min - it will rise again.
Bake for 55 minutes at 220'C. Take out of the pan and put back to the oven for 10min.
