As I call it, ‘dry skin’ season is back. It is getting colder, so we need extra moisture and stabile exfoliation to be done not to have flakes everywhere. After using glycolic pads for a while, I decided to try different brand to see what the difference is. I bought @superdrug Naturally Radiant “Glycolic Acid Pads”.
This is what I discovered:
- Soaked in a blend of Glycolic Acid & fruit AHA’s;
- Scent is herbal;
- Mission: Help to remove dead cells from the surface;
- Key ingredients: Witch hazel, Aloe Vera, Pro Vitamin B5;
- Cruelty free;
- Suitable for all skin types;
- Suitable for vegetarians and vegans;
- Price: £5.99 @superdrug ;
- Volume: 60 pads;
- Made in U.K
(INCI): Aqua, Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Vaccinium Myrtillus Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharinum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Extract, Parfum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hamamelis Virginiana Water, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzoic Acid.
When I compare these pads with Nip and Fab “Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads” which I liked, I find quite some differences. These glycolic pads do not have that sticky feeling after liquid dries. Also, ingredients are very different. Common thing they both have ‘Glycolic acid’ as 3rd ingredient in the list. Not big difference in price but somehow I like these Superdrug pads more.
Do you use glycolic soaked pads? Or do you wet your pads yourself? What kind of pads or glycolic acid do you use? Please share you experience in the comments!
