Hate is a strong word. 🤬 BUT....I HATE anxiety, depression and insomnia so much that I was willing to do whatever it took to get past it - and all that hard work paid off.
I'm gonna be honest. I LOVED my Coke and late night Little Caesars Pizza binges. I LOVED Taco Bell, Hardee's malts, fast food, and processed food anything. Bring it on! The more the better! 🥤 But, do you know what I love even more?
Feeling great. 🤯
No longer being tormented by the paralyzing, agonizing anxiety and 3-4 week insomnia bouts. Being able to be at peace and sleep at night. Not feeling sad 23 hours out of the day.
It wasn't overnight.
ANYTHING that promises immediate results, overnight miracles, 'sit back and watch' remedies isn't going to work. We live in a society that has taught us we can have everything we want right now. Well, I don't know how that all worked for you but it didn't do for me...but land me in a darker hole.
I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
It wasn't till I said "ENOUGH" and began researching and incorporating lifestyle changes, eating habit changes and getting serious about what I put in - and on - my body that I began to see REAL results.
AND just as important was what to NOT put in my body. Here’s the thing. You can put all these amazing things in your body but if you keep putting in all the crap, what results would you expect to achieve?
It wasn't easy. It WAS worth it.
I am proof it CAN be done. AND I am proof that we are all STRONGER than we think we are.
