Tears of Peaches
The Harpyiai (Harpies) were the spirits of sudden, sharp gusts of wind. They were known as the hounds of Zeus and were despatched by the god to snatch away (harpazô) people and things from the earth. Sudden, mysterious dissappearances were often attributed to the Harpyiai.
Today the winds here in Athens are very strong and there are wild fires burning. So I felt this little definition was fitting. Let's jump to the cocktail now. You know I love using mastiha liqueur especially during the summer. So I decided to pair it with some peach juice and green tea. Boom. It turned out really great and good news my dad approved. Fruity, a little piney from the mastiha and with a nice flavor from the green tea.
Tears of peaches:
60ml Mastiha liqueur (@eva_distillery)
75ml Peach juice
20ml green tea
Our 300ml bottles of mix are perfect for packing in your cooler or to enjoy (sans alcohol) on the go! Grab some today - link to retailers in bio.
