When creating drinks, I sometimes get so caught up in the process of 'making it Insta-worthy' 📸 that a part of me seems to forget to truly enjoy and savour the cocktail in front of me.🍹 Too busy wondering if there would be a better glass or garnish, or thinking of what I could be mixing up next...🥃 The moment I realize I'm in the zone of just 'producing', I need to take the drink, sit down and focus on it: Give the products the attention they deserve, since all these craft spirits and liqueurs are created with so much love that they should be treated that way ❤️.
Pekoe calls itself 'the Spirit of Tea', it's a Dutch liqueur made only with the highest-grade tea leaves 🍃 selected by Robert Schinkel, tea sommelier and bartender from Amsterdam.🇳🇱 created three expressions for .nl : Ceylon, Jasmine and Earl Grey, the latter being used in my drink of the day.🌿 The tea used for this particular liqueur is sourced in Southern Sri Lanka (Rilhena Estate) and has strong citrus and aromatic floral head notes.💮 Combined with the Dutch and (Orange) Bitters, to create a layered and complex cocktail.💕 Drinkstagram, enjoy your Friyay and don't forget to relax!
