Growing up, people always saw me as weird or different. I had to learn at a young age not to concern myself with what other people thought of me. Instead, I embraced being different, and even began to love myself for it, eventually finding people in my life who love me for it too.
I know that on social media and in real life, a lot of us think we have to look/be a certain way, create certain content, have certain lives to feel important. I want remind you that you ARE important, even in your most natural form; that there is no person like you, or a voice like yours.
Your complex, imperfect, and beautiful story can stand on its own. You don’t have to perfect or embellish it or tie it in a bow. You don’t need to be embarrassed by the parts of you that seem unfit; we want you just as you are.
The people you are meant to touch will appreciate you for all of your uniqueness, and your haters will be threatened by it. But one thing you should always do is remain 100%, completely, and unapologetically true to YOU.
Tell me below one of your favorite parts of being YOU ✨
