Do you have a BOUNCE BACK PLAN? 👀 I’m talking for your MINDSET. .
Something really crappy happened today. Like really really crappy. Like $3,000 worth of crappy haha. And I could have let it ruin my day or heck ruin my month. But I’ve learned over the years to formulate a bounce back plan for when something shitty happens. .
So whether you come home from a bad day at work, someone close hurt you or made you mad, something unexpected happened, or whatever it may be that just got your blood boiling - you need to formulate a bounce back plan. I made mine up, but it works. 🤷🏽♀️ .
Immediately once something bad happens - go to your plan. Which means you need to figure out that plan NOW and not in the moment. .
My personal bounce back plan is:
- Drink a scoop of my plant based pre workout ✨
- Turn on my playlist with my favorite JAMS 🎶 - Either exercise or preferably go outside and nature and go for a long walk 🏃🏽♀️🐶 - Start thinking of & listing everything I’m grateful for 🙏🏽
So today, that’s just what I did. And you know what, it WORKED. For something that in the past would have made me meltdown & cry & be pissed all night, I went right into my plan and it actually worked! I didn’t even cry 😂🙌🏽 and if you know me at all, I’m a very emotional person. 😂😭

You see how silly mine is, and you can witness it first hand as it happened in my IG stories. But it worked. And I’m totally ok. And we’re ok. And honestly I just kept thinking “Kaiya is healthy” 🐶 and last week that’s ALL I could possibly want. I have a roof over my head in a cozy clean house, a great fiancé, a healthy dog, a job I love, co-workers I’m obsessed with, & overall a life I love. 💕
