Soon to be inaugurated, the new Biomedicum laboratory building for the Karolinska Institute at Campus Solna, Stockholm. Will be the cornerstone in the institutes strategy of withholding its position, as one of the worlds leading medical universities, known amongst other things for selecting the recipients of the Nobel Prize in medicine and physiology.
The aim of the approximately 65,000 sq. m. New Biomedicum building - is to collect a large part of the experimental research carried out at Karolinska Institutet's Solna Campus under one roof, set in an advanced research environment that promotes interdisciplinary cooperation and research. Something we like to describe as ‘visible science’ architecture.
