There really is only one moment in which God exists; the present.
He was with me yesterday and he will be with me tomorrow, but today, regardless of the potential for harm or good in either of them, he is with me now.
Life is an art form like that, learning not to worry but to wait. To talk less and listen more. To ask God who he is in the hope, suffering success and struggle of our today’s. Not our yesterday’s.
Make us tenderly attentive to your nowness, Father, and ground us in the beautiful present. Amen.
