FORBIDDEN RICE or as middle England prefers to call it - black rice - is super high in protein, minerals such as copper and iron and antioxidants anthocyanins... which give it the purple blue colour we love in blueberries and blue spirulina.

From #Pima Animal Care Center ..Tucson Arizona
Our hearts are breaking. Lovely went into cardiac arrest this morning and despite the vets' best efforts, they were unable to save her life. We are only comforted by the fact that she died knowing she was loved, not just by all of us but by the thousands of people who sent in donations, messages of love and support and who were rooting for our sweet girl. There are no words to describe how we all feel today or how humbled and grateful we are to our community who showed an unbelievable amount of love and care for this little dog.
In less than 24 hours we’ve raised $11,674 dollars to help #savelovely. She’s heading up to a specialty #vet in #Prescott where she’ll get the intensive care she needs. Lovely was doused in gasoline and lit on fire by her owner 11 days ago. She’s been kept stable by our medical team who has been taking her home at night to provide round-the-clock care. Now, thanks to the incredible #support of our #community, this little girl is being transported by volunteer Mike Ingram as we speak where she will be seen by experts in these types of injuries.
This case has had an impact on so many of us. It’s an #emotional day and we’re so grateful for all the support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping this little dog survive.
We you, Tucson!
Lovely is in our care after her owner poured gasoline on her and lit her on fire. She has a 50/50 chance of survival but we are doing everything we can to save her life. She needs to go to a specialist which will be costly but probably lifesaving.
If you want to help save Lovely, consider donating to the Friends of Pima Animal Care Center #savelovely

Another wonderful group completed our 3 week beginners ukulele program today - our first delivered with the City of Belmont.
At the end of our final session together, the group decided that they wanted to exchange contact details so they could keep meeting to progress their playing.
As a local resident of the City of Belmont, there is something so rewarding about planting seeds that grow into a small community.
The reality is that the individuals were always there - they simply needed the opportunity to come together - and what better way to do so than through the power of music.
A big thank you to the city of opportunity for the invitation to be a part of their Autumn Program and a massive congratulation to our latest group of UKE123 graduates!
Why not enjoy a 6 mile sponsored walk through the beautiful East Devon countryside on Sunday 10th June, all finished off with a hot drink and delicious bacon bap!

Thinking back to some of the work that inspired us to start The Ground Up. We built this living roof at Embercombe 2 years ago with a group of refugees in Based in Plymouth and it’s still going strong. Many hands make light work.
так много всего происходит и одновременно, как будто, не происходит ровным счетом ничего. не знаю как все это объяснить. я как будто смотрю на все со стороны и вижу чужого человека, который плохо понял свою роль и делает ошибки на каждом шагу
