This is happening on MLK Day at the African American Museum in Dallas. #mlk #conversations #communityleaders
Join local community leaders for a candid panel discussion, “#MeToo: We’re Still Talking About It,” at Realizing the Dream Healthy Living Expo at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 21, 2019, at the African American Museum in Dallas. Each week, there are new reports of sexual abuse in the arts and entertainment industry, sexual harassment in the workplace, and the prevalence of rape culture on college campuses.
Panelists will examine how widespread and systemic these issues are, explore the roles of women and men in dismantling sexual violence and discuss how these unresolved issues continue to affect the health of the community. The discussion will be moderated by community and business leader Rev. Carl M. Lavallais, president of N’Credible Consulting.
The event is FREE. You are encouraged to attend this discussion and share what are you going to do about the systemic issue of sexual harassment.
