Queensland (and the rest of Australia) is going through a tough time with more than half of the state being drought-declared. This drought has had a knock-on effect that will be felt by everybody.
Businesses, big and small, are doing their bit to support the #aussiefarmers and many schools are doing a 'Dress up like a farmer' for a gold coin donation Day.
What can we do to support our farmers? -Donate - there are many fundraising campaigns in each state.
-Buy LOCAL - Australian branded products.
-Support businesses in the drought-affected areas.
-Support the volunteers who are helping our farmers.
Consistency I bet that’s a word you didn’t want to hear right now. I’m still telling you: You need consistency in your social media activities if you want to get clients through Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can’t just be like „Uh, I don’t feel inspired right now.. I guess I’m just not posting anything today and try again tomorrow“.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sorry for saying this but to be successful with Social Media you NEED to sit down and write those posts. Every single month, every single week, every single day.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To be able to do this without turning crazy I can only recommend having a content calendar and schedule in advance. This doesn’t need to be anything fancy at all. Just one big piece of paper and a pen ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make a basic plan of which activities you have coming up (launches, anniversaries, vacations) and which photos you will need to post about these.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always write down my photo ideas in Evernote, so every day when I'm at a scenic location (which is pretty much everywhere in Cyprus ) I have a look in my notes to see which pictures I still need and get some done.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This makes it easy to always have a constant stream of posts prepared. And of course, you can and should always add livestreams and ad-hoc posts in between ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #contentcalendar#sitdownanddothework#consistency#contentideas#socialmediaideas#contentcuration#contentcreation
Good golly where's Wally?? This is such a cool 'book' packed with fun games for kids! There are puzzles, word searches, a fold out board game and many other activities! .
I think this is perfect to keep kids entertained when they are travelling!! My 9yr old loves taking it to school and doing some puzzles during her free periods. I think it's a nice way to just switch off when school becomes a bit hectic. I'd think during exam periods this would also be something nice. Addison always loves doing anything BUT study for the next day after she writes her exam, so this would be a great distraction. .
These 'Games on the go' books are available on @takealotcom for R155. There's a whole range of these 'Where's Wally' books! .
Do you think your kids would be into something like this? I'll share pics of the inside on my Instagram stories. .
Inverted goodness. I’ve always loved simple logos and a clean palette. Call me lazy, I don’t care ♀️

Purdue University conducted a study recently. The study consisted of a nanoscale rotor that was created and levitated in a vacuum, to be blasted into spin-motion by laser technology. The research study reveals how different substances respond under extreme conditions and how friction behaves in a vacuum. On a quantum level, researchers were able to bombard the nano-dumbbells in place with polarized light. With it's light in one plane, they wrote in the study that was published online on July 20, 2018 in the journal Physical Review Letters. #TechnologyThursday#Laser#Motor #Digital#Business#Traffic#DigitalBusinessTraffic
