But I cannot deny the effect is great!
Two whole chickens, halved along the back bones but left intact, I rubbed them with fresh thyme, garlic, lemon and @falksaltusa smoked salt of course! Each bird rests on a halved spanish onion
Excellent aroma, and fast cooking time!
Next up I’ll add some white wine, potatoes, parsnips and fennel to the sheet pan and put that mix back in the oven.
One pan dinner for 6!
I’m a meat eater! Maybe not so often - but if I’m gonna eat it...I’m gonna make sure it’s great!
This is a lean cut of top round cooked on an open fire with cast iron. Anything that gets me@our by a fire is a good thing!
Steak is perfect, chimichurri sauce is on point....asparagus is crisp....avocado is just right....this is one great meal.
