Whilst on our walk from St Ives to Zennor we came across a small waterfall which was part of a pretty wild stream of water running down the the sea. Rather than cross the bridge over it immediately we ventured toward the sea in search of pictures of the water. As we got to a ledge, the furthest we could go, Ash spotted a few seals in the sea. I was busily snapping away, oblivious to the 20 or so that were laying in the bay about 20 feet below us! Ash spotted them first and I think her squeal of excitement scared a few of them away in to the sea but most just laid there looking back at us as if to say “please leave us alone in this nice quiet spot we found”. We’re so glad we wandered off the beaten track and managed to spend some time watching them.
