Hola amigos y amigas! Les quiero presentar a “Alfredo”. Nosotros hemos trabajado juntos para 24 semanas. En este tiempo “Alfredo” a aprendido cómo manejar su nutrición para lograr sus objetivos de perder peso y ponerse en la mejor forma de su vida. “Alfredo” era muy constistente con su nutrición y entrenamiento. El levanta pesas pero también empezó a correr. Siempre le digo que ya se parece mas y mas a el correcaminos, de tanto que a mejorado sus tiempos cuando corre! En las 24 semanas trabajamos duro para bajar el peso, aumentar su energía y enseñar le cómo mantenga los resultados para que los pueda mantener por vida! —-

1 – Sua técnica está ruim: postura ruim, posicionamento inadequado, escolha errada das cargas, treinamento errado. Em todos esses casos você até pode se exercitar e ganhar força no começo, mas logo perceberá que a evolução irá diminuir.

2 – Você treina o que gosta, não o que precisa: Mas existem aqueles que “pulam” o treino no dia que o exercício que não gosta aparece no workout. Não fuja da verdade.
3 – Você não faz os treinos complementares (acessórios): Existe uma infinidade de exercícios acessórios para o LPO que vão te ajudar bem mais do que só agachar ou levantar peso. O Coach irá identificar suas fraquezas e poderá direcionar em qual fase do seu exercício você precisar focar.

4 – Você não se preocupa com sua recuperação: Sono adequado, mobilidade, alongamentos, recuperação ativa (bike, remo, corrida) não podem ser deixados de lado. Se lembre que até a persistência tem um limite.

5 – Você não foca na sua mobilidade: flexibilidade e mecânica do movimento precisam uma da outra.

6 – Você não dá enfase para a força: flexibilidade, velocidade, coordenação e claro, força. Por isso, você deve saber que todas elas são importantes para que você seja um atleta equilibrado.

7 – Você tem medo de errar: não se importe em errar. Tenha, antes de mais nada, certeza de que aquela carga é segura e que você saberá largar a barra num erro de execução.
8 – Você não dá atenção para sua nutrição: A alimentação é o combustível do nosso corpo, os treinos de força no crossfit exigem que seu corpo esteja com a energia em dia. Não treine com cargas muito altas em jejum.

Sports... or well Crossfit, has taught me a million lessons about sucking at something and then getting better.
It’s hard.
It’s usually excruciatingly slow.
But then when you’ve crossed over and mastered a skill it feels great.
Of course, then you’re hungry for the next thing but you have that experience of success to push you and make you believe you can go get that next thing.

If you’ve ever whipped yourself with a rope trying to get just one single double under, though, you know how much that in between stage can fucking suck.
Or ripped your hands on muscle up drills.
Hit your pubic bone trying to snatch.

That in between before the success sucks. But it makes the success sweeter apparently. And it definitely makes the story better! Haha

Ever been after a goal and kept seeing it slip out of your fingers? Man, it’s the worst. What do you do when that happens?
Give up?
Keep trying?
Or if you’re like me, have a small melt down then get back to the job at hand?

There’s a lot of lessons in that in between phase. We just gotta look for ‘em. Admittedly, I’m not always the best at this, so the lessons usually have to slap me in the face hahaha but we figure them out eventually. Even if it’s two years later, ya know?
What can we find in our struggle today? What lesson are we supposed to be learning? How can we lean in?
Questions I’m asking myself and trying to learn too! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m sure it’s good stuff out there.
