Ok, so non-dairy milks are not technically “milks” because almonds don’t have boobies and all...but I do like a "milk" replacements for smoothies, chia puddings etc… and for a while now, store bought nut milks are a big no no for me as they are loaded with like #XanthamGum that alters your gut bacteria, Soy Lecitin (not something you want in your body) or #Carrageenan, which is indigestible and is a known #carcinogen. Stay away from that guy. Anyhoo, recently I was experimenting with making #oat milk and I have to say it’s kinda awesome. It’s faster to make then nut milks, as it does not require as much soaking, and oats are not as expensive! Detailed recipe in the bio link, but in a nutshell, soak oats, rinse, blend, strain few times and #voila!
