Today we take a few moments to pray for America 🇺🇸 Matthew 12:21 says, “In His name the nations will put their hope.” Join us in taking a few moments to pray with us: "Dear Heavenly Father,
We take a few moments to stop and humble ourselves to pray for our great nation. We pray that you see and hear us today. We acknowledge Your sovereignty over all governments, authorities, and mankind. We are so grateful that You sent Your Son Jesus to leave heaven, where there was no shortage of worship, to come down to show us what true love really is and lead us to Your heart. We are so grateful that He showed us how to love our neighbor, fight for justice, and believe the best in one another.
We are so grateful that He showed us that we can lean into relationships that are different than us and still choose to love the person even if we disagree with their political position. We are so grateful that He modeled how to carry a spirit of honor for our leaders even though we may disagree with them and that we can sit around the same table with others who believe differently than us.
Thank you for your constant grace and endless mercy towards us. When we begin to understand how grace changed our lives, we'll become the least offended people on the planet. Grace changed everything for us.
So now we pray today that we go and would live, love, and reflect Your heart everywhere we go. I pray You are heard in our tone of voice, seen in our social media posts, and felt in our way of living towards one another. I pray that every person in our city and nation would come to know this amazing grace that has forever changed our lives.
We want to love people, all people, like You, love us.
You've already blessed America beyond what we deserve. Our prayer now is that America blesses You as we continue to love our neighbors, walk in humility, fight for the those who can't fight for themselves, and stand on the Biblical values we see in the Bible. Thank you for this privilege to carry Your Name and this assignment in this generation. People are our hearts.
You are the best things that's ever happened to us. There's not even a close second.”
