For our anniversary yesterday we went on a beautiful hike (pics to come!). We both were drenched in sweat by the time we were done and our legs were killing us.
This morning my legs felt dead. But I wanted try a little harder then yesterday. Just a smidge. So I did. And I was able to do a few moves I couldn’t do before. Proof to my future self that I am still getting stronger and can push past that “I don’t have anything left” point.
Bonus: walking inside and your hubby commenting on how he can’t believe I was doing what I did. ♀️ makes a girl feel good!
This girl! She absolutely gutted out 65 miles and over 5000 feet of climbing at #horriblyhillyhundreds with the NEWI #jdrfride team. All 6 of us rose the occasion, and hammered through only what I can call one of the hardest rides of my life. Simply incredible! #cycling#deadlegsfordays
Taking a few days off from Ironman training last week was refreshing but alas I’m back at it!
Late nights..early mornings..hours and HOURS of training can be challenging to manage but I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t love the sport!

I’m also super sensitive to caffeine/stimulants and this did not have any crazy effects on me, so that’s a major win in my book 🤪
4. (Not pictured) but I recently discovered circuit training and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I LOVE IT. You get such a good burn and it makes me feel great in the gym. Find a style of training that works for you and go for it!!! Do what you love, or you’re not gonna wanna do it!!! P.S. swipe for my new favorite glute activation exercise!!! Make sure you’re squeezing that peach the uglier the squeeze the better, am I right? •

Yep I wore those babies for my entire workout I am feeling super good the last few weeks! Almost back to my wedding weight after a small bump in the road!
Leg Day done! I took yesterday as a mental health day, but I finished up A Little Obsessed today! My legs are shaking but i feel great! Move of the day will be up later this afternoon.
What a day! It was super hard and super warm , but we got there in the end! The top of Pigeon House Mountain! Approx 1.5 hours up and approx 1 hour back down. So hard, but so good. And a beautiful view of the canyon at the top! #workout#deadlegsfordays#totallyworthit
Closing 2017 with a 10k run race was a good idea even though I have been fighting with some health issues in the last two days. I just can be satisfied and I had fun again. I hope this feeling will follow me through 2018. I honestly can’t wait today evening.
