Here's something a little different for your Thursday. Cracked mud in California's Death Valley National Park. I photographed this just prior to our Death Valley Photo Adventure, this past February. I could shoot this stuff for days (and I have). It's really fun to study the shapes, patterns, color, and texture of the cracks. I've got loads of these images in my archive, but rarely process and print them, as they're not generally good sellers.
If you like desert scenes, we've still got some spots available on our upcoming Death Valley Photo Adventure. Join us in exploring the best that the American Southwest has to offer. Check out my website for much more info, or shoot me a message with any questions.
If you're in the Sheboygan, WI area this weekend, I hope you'll stop by the Midsummer Festival of Art at the Kohler Art Center to see my newest work, and to say hello.
I’ll actually have this new image on display as a 30x40” print on metal.
