That feeling after you finish a workout can anyone else relate to this!? I used to put off working out (especially right before a vacation!) – or better yet, I used to say that I didn’t want or need to. I would make EVERY excuse in the book to not do it. Then, when I finally did start I was doing it for the wrong reasons. I’ve come a long way in the last 6 months. I’m finally able to say that I work out because I love how I feel afterwards and I love how strong I’m getting! WORKING OUT is different for everyone. I was an avid swimmer ♀️ but I allowed life to get in the way so I decided to start doing little things and add on often. I started off by taking the stairs at my office when we switch buildings and even stopped looking for the closest spot at a store to get the extra steps in!
You don’t have to be perfect right away, or ever for that matter! The important thing is to just move your body because YOU CAN
Reading a great book and eating plant based meal to destress.
The only way out is through As much as I love a quick fix, I've come to learn the hard way that it doesn't exist. Rather than numbing out and avoiding the problem, the only way to truly heal your experience and get free from the past is: Fully feel the emotion
Allow the pain, sadness, grief to flow through you (tissue warning)
Learn the lessons or patterns it's here to show you
Change your behaviour as necessary
Allow yourself to move on (stop running old painful stories in your head)
Be grateful for what you have
All whilst taking some big deep breaths
As it’s #InternationalYogaDay I’d like to thank YouTube for providing me with videos that I’ve learnt loads of brilliantly named postures from, like pigeon, downward dog & strangled cat. Therefore when I’m visiting locations like this I can zen my face off. @bohobeautifullife are my faves . I use them almost everyday, makes me properly switch off & find it sorts literally any ailment/stress I have. And the work outs are ruddy tough! If you have any to recommend let me know yoglies.
Today has been crazy crazy busy & wasn’t feeling well so no proper yoga or gym today! But that’s okay, because yoga isn’t just about some poses but about the connection between mind & body. No matter how busy or stressful a day, all I need to do is close my eyes, take a few deep breaths and remember to centre myself . Inhale positivity & exhale all the stress-away. Make yoga-day everyday 🧘🏻♀️ #yogababy#throwback#yogaday .

Very often we are the ones blocking our progress. We do this for a number of reasons but mainly through fear: fear of failure, of not being good enough and of being judged.
The one question I always ask myself is:
What’s the worst that can happen?
