These Honey Butter Pumpkin Dinner Rolls by @averiesunshine at averiecooks.com are sooooo good! They get brushed with honey butter before baking and the extra dripped down to the bottom making it a little like a sticky bun. 🤤 The pumpkin is not too overwhelming. I did 2 T of pumpkin pie spice because we didn’t have any nutmeg at my sister’s house. I was showing her how easy yeast raised breads are to make. If you haven’t worked with yeast, what are you waiting for?! It intimidated me for a long time but now I love experimenting with bread making. These reminded me of pumpkin spice flavored Bob Evans dinner rolls and that combines two of my favorite things so this obviously earns #fivepumpkinpoints. .

🧒🏼Today I had the pleasure of meeting a very sweet 6 year old boy, who was initially scared to see the dietitian, as he believed I wanted to know what he was eating. He wasn’t wrong there, this was indeed correct. But what he had thought in his mind, was that I needed to cut open his tummy to see what he had eaten.
The things children think off 😳🙊🙈 After reassuring him, he came out of his shell and was bouncing around the room in no time 🤦🏻‍♀️
The reason for referral - fussy eater.

Fussy eating in children is common so don’t panic. 🥦It might be the child doesn’t like vegetables
🙊They might freak out at the different smells, textures and appearance of foods
🍝Mixed textured foods might make them feel sick.

Top tips
🍽🕔Eat the same foods together as a family, at the same time and the same place (e.g pasta at 5pm at the dinner table)
🤱🏼You as the parent are in charge. Don’t allow them the choice of foods. Simply prepare their meal and set it down on the table.
🍴Refusing foods is normal, but don’t give up. Try and try again.
🥣Offer a small portion, and give more if they finish it. Make sure you praise them.
🍝Remove uneaten food without comment. Don’t pressurise children to eat food.
👨‍👧‍👧Make meal times fun, involve the family. Allow children to get involved in the preparation of meals. Allow them to handle different foods, see what goes into meals. Allow them to grow their own vegetables.
👐🏼Finger foods may be easier to manage
🥤Avoid giving drinks or snacks an hour before mealtimes

Delicata squash- first time cooking it last night! I have heard people talk about it for a few years but only recently found at my local @traderjoes .
Have you tried it? Share your favorite recipe or way to prepare it. .
I roasted it with oil, salt and pepper and after coming out of the oven, drizzled a little maple syrup on top... mostly to entice my 3 year old to try it out (a mom has to have a few tricks!)

And yes, she did try it (score!!)

Interestingly, this is 1 winter squash you don't have to peel and it cuts a lot easier than butternut! Hallelujah!! It's also rich in vitamin A and a good source of vitamin C.

🐔Es un alimento de origen animal básico en nuestra alimentación, sobre todo en los desayunos, que es cuándo la mayoría de las personas lo consumen.
Yo🙋🏻‍♀️soy de las personas que pueden comer huevo en cualquier comida del día! 🤷🏻‍♀️😅Jajaja
El huevo nos aporta proteína de alta calidad y está formado por dos partes:
⚪La clara (albúmina) está compuesta de proteínas y de avidina, un anti-nutriente que evita la absorción de vitaminas del complejo B. El calor destruye la avidina, por lo tanto se deben cocinar para evitar la pérdida de nutrimentos al consumirla.
🔶La Yema se compone principalmente de ácidos grasos esenciales, vitaminas B, A, D, E, fósforo y concentraciones altas de leucina, un aminoácido esencial que promueve la síntesis de proteína muscular.💪🏼
📝Existe la creencia de que consumir el huevo crudo es saludable…. La realidad es que para poder aprovechar la proteína del huevo, es necesario aplicar calor (o sea cocinarlo) así la proteína estará bio disponible para nosotros y además matamos cualquier bacteria presente en la cascara del huevo como la salmonella🧟‍♂ que pueden causar enfermedades o intoxicación alimentaria.😷🤒
🍳Al comer el huevo completo obtienes mayores beneficios (nutrimentos) que le aporta la yema, en comparación a solo consumir la clara. Todo dependerá de tus objetivos.

Welches Obst reift nach und welches nicht? 🍑🍏🍇 Ist es dir auch schon passiert, dass du noch hartes Obst gekauft hast und es in den nächsten Tagen essen wolltest? Mit dem Gedanken, dass das Obst bis dahin weicher und süßer geworden ist. Bleibt das Obst aber hart und sauer ist die Frage: warum?
➡️ Viele Obstsorten werden geerntet und angeboten ehe sie ihre volle Reife haben. Manche Früchte reifen nach, wie Apfel, Aprikose, Avocado, Banane, Birne, Heidelbeeren, Mango, Nektarinen, Pfirsiche und Pflaumen🍐🍌 Aber: wenn dieses Obst zu früh oder unterentwickelt gepflückt wird, hilft auch kein Liegenlassen. 🧐Dieses Obst reift nicht nach, deshalb immer reif kaufen: Ananas, Brombeeren, Erdbeeren, Granatapfel, Himbeeren, Kirschen, Trauben und Zitrusfrüchte 🍋🍓

If you are dieting, needing prep meals, or even bulking and you aren’t using @hapashawaiianbandg then you are missing out. I have been eating their prep meals this past week and none of them have disappointment. They are extremely good and at a pretty decent price. The best part for me is they do all the measuring and write out the macros for you on the package. They do need 24hrs to prep them but give them a try for sure.
